The Beloved Amrit Vela

One of the most beloved practices offered at Sat Nam Fest includes early morning Aquarian Sadhana. The early morning hours are known to yogis as the Amrit Vela, or the hours of nectar. During this time of day, the sun strikes the Earth at a particular angle. Believe it or not, the way the sun strikes the Earth has an effect on the human psyche and the human energy body. Grow to love rising early!

Yogi Bhajan Insist We Rise Early

Yogi Bhajan insisted that if we miss meditating during the early morning hours and try to meditate later in the day, the practice will not be as powerful, effective, or as long-lasting. He insisted we practice in the early morning hours together to create a harmonious group consciousness.

On the gross level, we know that meditation during these hours means less distraction from phone calls or other interruptions. We know that helping each other commit to something difficult builds team spirit. But we practice to enhance more than our gross level awareness.

On the Subtle Level

On the subtle level, raising your awareness of your inner well-being while the sun is also rising gives your meditation a kind of solar energy power that you carry with you throughout the day. You and the sun create a subconscious bond that is deeply empowering. Now, when we collectively practice Aquarian Sadhana during the Amrit Vela at Sat Nam Fest, that solar charge engages our collective prayer. Our collective inner consciousness increases exponentially! Practicing Aquarian Sadhana in a large group improves our communication with one another and with the universe.

On the Level of the Aura

Finally, Yogi Bhajan taught us the different ways that practicing group Sadhana effects our auras. He said that practicing in a group can create a group aura. That aura can be blue, which is the highest etheric frequency. But if everyone is really in tune and a-tuned to one another, the group aura can even become a rainbow. Rainbows have the power of expanding our sense of awe! Imagine! We can create a rainbow aura at Sat Nam fest!

Practice Collectively

Practicing Aquarian Sadhana with the group at Sat Nam Fest helps enhance the power of every kriya and meditation that you will do on your own thereafter. Join us at Sat Nam Fest for morning Sadhana and understand how your physical body, mental body, and energetic body can align to help you reach your potential. At the same time, you will be leaving an auric imprint of high frequency on this planet.
